Research in AI at VSB-TUO spans multiple faculties and centers, often in close collaboration with industry and international partners. The past Rector, Prof. Václav Snášel, is himself a renowned expert in AI, underscoring the institutional emphasis on this field. Significant support for AI research is provided by the IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center, which integrates high-performance computing (HPC) and data analysis capabilities for AI applications as well as Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
